When I convert MIDI to WAV the result doesn't have enough volume. I boost the sound while listening with the windows player, but when I change to the RIFF choice and record it, the volume goes down to "normal" (I guess that's normal, anyway). Gene.

I found the solution after messing around with a lot of other programs: When you change the output to RIFF WAVE file the volume goes back to the default, re: LOW, but the slider doesn't! So... After changing the output, note where the slider is, push it back down to 0, then back up to where it was, (you DID set it while you played the file, right?) then hit play!
