Hello I verified that i could hear my mid file with the GUI then I configured the output to RIFF Wave file - auto file name. I launched MidiWave.bat and it created a wav file with a header followed by zeroes. Please help!

If you are using the GUI and you hear sound, use it for the wav file as well, not midi.bat. Midi.bat does not use the GUI settings.
Sounds like you did everything correctly. All you had to do was press the "play" button in the GUI to create your wav.
Don't forget to change the GUI settings back or you will be creating .wav files everytime you hit play.

Hello I want to use the .bat, calling it from another .bat. Is there something to setup to get the .bat to produce a correct wav ?

If you want to use midiwave.bat, make sure you can hear the midi with midiplay.bat first.
If midiplay.bat won't execute, edit it and make sure it is pointing to the correct location of timidity.exe.
If it executes but you can't hear anything, open the default cfg file (timidity.cfg) in wordpad and look at the paths it is using.
The path to your soundfont must be in this file, or if timidity.cfg points to a different cfg file, it must be in that one.

That's it! I modified the file timidity.cfg, the default .snd was commented. It works like a charm now, thank you.
